The start of the rear arms from 4130 plate.
Some bracing going in.
Just for the 181 purists, this didnt stand a chance for restoration! The 181 is getting rare here.
Chromoly spindles.
Front suspension installed for some gratification. Lower A-arms are poly bushed, and uppers are heims. The tires are from another car, they will be 33 x 10.5 x 15.
The beginnings of a cage. 1.5" DOM tubing and plate work is 4130 chromoly.
Another early model. The suspension was first and the body was modeled within a 1/4" +-
The suspension was designed using SolidWorks. Travel will be limited at 19". After that geometry starts to degrade. This is the concept we are shooting for.

Mock up, with the front bulk head.

Here is the pan replacement. It is going to be A-arm front with semi-trailing arm rear. I also finished the torsion housings. There are two of everything since I am also building one for a friend.
