Started one of two fuel tanks.
This is the first of two fuel tanks. I'm building two cars at the same time. Made of .125 5052. The baffles work to divert low fuel to the sump where it becomes trapped in the sump through the dimple die holes.

JAMAR PRO-X install
Mounted the calipers and installed the brakes. Overall a straight forward bolt on job. I welded the caliper mounts that came with the brakes to the spindle. Everything went so smooth I decided to assemble the front end to see how everything looks.
I just received my JAMAR PRO-X front disc brakes and rear micro stubs. These are the nicest pieces I have seen. I will post some more pics on the car. The workmanship is awesome!

Ok, I'm warmed up enough to
go on. Last couple of "not so via able welds". Pictures aren't fair.
This whole car would be done if I Mig'd it! The floor is mig at least. I am
burnin Argon like mad. Now I know why finish welders are so expensive. The
Argon alone counts for a lot of the hourly. If anyone is interested in welding,
let me know. I'll need a second job to weld this out! It would be cool to find
someone tacked up that just needed the finish passes, but that would be rare.

Some welding done.
Still a lot of work to do. I started getting some welding done while some intersections are free from gussets. Things in some areas are going to be tight for the torch.
I was able to mount the body to the chassis. I used 1.5" tubing sleeved through the body to mounts on the chassis. Once all the panels were solidly mounted, I cut the body into pieces and now it is removable one piece at a time. Each piece is easily handle by one person. Ill build a rack or cart to store them on when not in use or cleaning after a run. Body work should be easy on saw horses also.
